Roof-assembly-first specification

Roof protection system
CemerGuard
A roof-waterproofing system direction for compatible flat-roof and protected terrace assemblies.
Product overview / 01
Roof waterproofing
CemerGuard is the controlled waterproofing member of the launch range. It must be specified against the complete roof assembly, drainage, upstands, penetrations, exposure and compatibility requirements—not as a decorative coating alone.
Features
Continuity at drains, upstands and penetrations
Controlled reinforcement and protection strategy
Benefits
Makes critical detailing visible in the specification
Coordinates membrane, substrate and exposure review
Supports documented inspection and maintenance
Technical specification
System at a glance.
The table defines the product’s role without publishing formulation-dependent values before technical approval.
Content accountability
Reviewed before publication.
This page is reviewed and approved by Ben Basirat, Founder & Principal, drawing on 30 years of construction and architectural-coating experience. Formulation-dependent values remain governed by the current approved TDS, SDS and project specification.
Application guide
Five controlled stages.
This is a design-level sequence, not a substitute for the current installation guide, TDS, SDS or project specification.
01 · Assess
Confirm the substrate, exposure, movement, moisture and service conditions before specification.
02 · Prepare
Confirm falls, drainage, cracks, joints, penetrations, upstands, moisture and termination details.
03 · Build the system
Install the approved primer, reinforced waterproofing layers and protective build-up as one inspected assembly.
04 · Finish
Apply the selected texture and colour within the approved coat sequence and recoat windows.
05 · Protect
Complete testing, protection, inspection records and the project maintenance plan before handover.
Finish options
Character is built by hand.
Texture, movement, sheen and colour are approved together on a physical sample. Natural hand variation is part of the intended finish.

FAQ
Questions before specification.
01Where can CemerGuard be used?+
Use is limited to the applications and substrates listed in the current approved CemerGuard Technical Data Sheet and project specification.
02Can I choose a colour online?+
The digital palette establishes direction only. Approve a physical sample made with the selected texture and protection system before production.
03Who should install the system?+
Installation is intended for trained professional applicators working from current controlled documents and an approved project sample.
04How is coverage confirmed?+
Coverage depends on substrate, layer build-up, texture and approved formulation. Use only the current TDS and a project sample calculation.
